Del Rio, Texas - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Sector seized nearly 1,000 pounds of marijuana, in five separate incidents, over the past week.On May 9th during a routine immigration inspection at a highway checkpoint, Border Patrol agents from the Eagle Pass South Border Patrol station discovered 88 pounds of marijuana hidden in the back of a station wagon. Miami - The Coast Guard Cutter Key Biscayne repatriated more than 70 Cuban migrants to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba who were interdicted Saturday in two separate events as a result of CBP Air and Marine efforts. A Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine DASH-8 aircrew located two go-fast vessels traveling in tandem about 40 miles southeast of Miami Wednesday morning. (more)
